Abhishek Goyal
Co-Founder and Partner
Abhishek has 20+ years of experience in climate change and carbon markets. He has extensive experience in the development of GHG certification standards & accounting methodologies in multiple sectors. Before starting AGS, he led the technical developments at the Standard and new methodologies in Gold Standard. Abhishek is a member of the Regulatory Committee at Global Carbon Council. He is also working as Technical Consultant to CDM – Executive Board of UNFCCC on project assessments and is on the Roster of Experts with the Supervisory Body for Article 6.4 mechanism.
Neha Garg
Director-Projects
Neha has 16+ years of experience in climate change and carbon markets. She has worked on projects in India, Africa, and SE Asia. Worked with organizations like IL&FS and MEC. She specializes in Municipal waste management, energy efficiency, sustainable Agriculture, safe drinking water and renewable energy projects with a strong track record as a team leader. Her work includes managing initiatives, developing carbon projects from MRV to carbon credit issuance, and conducting feasibility studies. Co-authored reports and presented papers on low-carbon policy, renewable energy financing, and waste management. She holds a Master’s in Environmental Studies from TERI University and a Bachelor’s in Botany from Delhi University.
Ankita Jena
Director-Technical
Ankita has 13+ years of experience in climate finance, project management, carbon markets (compliance/VCM). Her expertise spans from initial project conception and design to meticulous data management, emission reduction calculations, monitoring, verification, and ultimately credit issuance. She is particularly adept at overseeing community-based projects such as clean cooking, lighting, safe water supply, sustainable agriculture, renewable energy, solar irrigation, and wastewater management. In the past, she has worked with organizations like Toxics Link, Clean Energy Access Network (CLEAN), MicroEnergy Credits. She has published several reports and article on energy access, hazardous and e-waste management. She holds a Master’s in Natural Resource Management from TERI University and a Bachelor’s in Zoology from Delhi University.

Karthikeyan N
Programme Officer
Karthikeyan is one of our senior professionals, with an eye for what makes a business succeed. With 5 years in the in the field of climate change, energy efficiency, carbon markets and sustainable development, he manages client expectations and ensure timely delivery. He has experience working in methane avoidance projects such as industrial wastewater and rice cultivation, solar pumps in agriculture, low energy lighting alternatives and efficient cookstoves projects. My past engagements include executing projects in industrial energy efficiency, policy and analytical advocacy in clean energy domain. In the past, he worked with cKinetics in creating pathways in the upcoming years for global MNCs to meet their emission reduction goals in industries such as apparel.
Gandhar Ukidve
Programme Officer
Gandhar is a dedicated and results-oriented professional with a strong commitment to sustainable development. He has 6 years of experience working across project cycles for clean cooking, safe drinking water and sustainable agriculture programmes. He is currently facilitating baseline assessment, stakeholder consultations and monitoring along with package documentation. He coordinates with clients, local partners and auditors for the programme implementation. Previously, Gandhar worked with Tata Capital, analysing investment opportunities in emerging clean technologies. His stints with CEEW and Prayas involved policy research in the domains of RE and power distribution. Gandhar holds a Master’s degree in Renewable Energy Eng. & Management from TERI School of Advanced Studies, New Delhi and a Master’s degree in Business Laws from NLSIU, Bangalore. He is an Electrical Engineer by Training.
Shreya Kunj
Senior Programme Associate
Shreya is a extremely hardworking and diligent professional. She has around 6 years of overall work experience. ​Started her carrier as an Electrical Testing and Automation Engineer in a manufacturing industry and has been associated with the carbon market from last 4 years where she has gained experience in GHG Auditing and Consulting for carbon projects. She has previously worked with Earthood as a Validator/Verifier and with Infinite Solutions as an Analyst-Carbon Projects.​ She has worked on several project activities (PAs) and Programme of Activities (PoAs) from different technical areas such as Renewable Energy, Energy Efficiency, Energy demand and Waste management under various standards (CDM, GS4GG, VCS, GCC). She has completed her B.Tech in Electrical Engineering and M.Tech in Energy management from School of Energy and Environmental studies and Research, DAVV, Indore.
Parth Tandon
Senior Programme Associate
Parth is a passionate and result-driven professional with a strong focus on sustainable development and continuous learning. He has more than 2 years of experience in the field of carbon market. He has previously worked as an associate consultant at Emergent Ventures Private Limited. He is actively involved in various projects focused on providing safe drinking water to the communities, promoting sustainable farming techniques and distributing improved cookstoves for cleaner and efficient cooking solutions. His passion for making a positive environmental and social impact drives his work across these initiatives. He completed his post-graduation in Environmental Studies and Resource Management from TERI University, New Delhi in 2022.
Pradnya Vernekar
Senior Programme Associate
Pradnya is a highly driven, diligent and adaptable individual with a strong commitment to personal and professional growth. She has 11 years of work experience in the field of environment including 4 years in research. Previously she has worked at Carbon check in the capacity of Trainee Assessor. She also extensive research experience involved village mapping and survey work across India for estimating Aerosol emissions across residential, agriculture, brick kilns and vehicular sectors in addition to expertise in water quality and soil sampling. She completed her post graduation from the University of Mumbai in the year 2010.
